I think this was a bonus with one of the VHS special collection at the time.

The year "1987" is what came up, 5 years ago when I was looking for info about this release.

Did a new search today. And it seems this is on sale separately.
And yes, the price is huge exaggeration. Which makes me think more this was a bonus in a collection

Setting this as enclosure for now, and the date is probably wrong. 1987 is the date the first OVA was released, and since this was probably from a collection of some sort seeing the price it might have been released in the early '90s.
Couldn't really find any information online though.

Also removed the performance credit since I can only see a composition credit in the booklet and 音楽 on the disc.

he is listed has synth performer in the 2005 2 disc release

I did not put enclosure because I did not know what really to put it or not.

For some reason back in 2003, I found on the web tons of special VHS editions of Urotsukidoji, perfect sections and such. Year 2014, I found nothing of it.
I even saw images back then

My bad, missed that. Thanks.

I'll fix those album titles too (the macron should be used in the display title if it's printed on the actual disc/package).

I asked Toshio Maeda about this release. He might know something since this his creation.
I did come up with this cd being Together with an LD movie edit

Well, the movie edit was released in 1989 so I've changed the date to that. Not sure if the LD was released the same year though, and this probably contained something else since 30000 yen is way too much for a ~2 hours movie.

Could it be that website?
The VHS movie edition was 14,124 yen, so we can discard this one.

We can also discard the LD-Box, cost 21,600 yen (http://auctions.c.yimg.jp/img383.auc...wauzx57779.jpg)

Now, as it is said on this fanpage, there was a VHS box.
Could find it on amazon.jp

A quick google search gave these results. Price is 30,000 yen... Could be that one also.

Well, waiting as well for Maeda's answer on this...

it was none of those websites.
I remember I saw the VHS collections in big JPEG. they were big boxes with 4 vhs in side as Book.
The box was like a big VHS case, when you would open, you had 4 vhs inside it. 2 above and 2 down.

I have not memory if there was anything about the ost. I know I came with those websites because I was looking if there was a ost released for it.
Of course at the time I used different words to serch for it, and I was not using google for sure.

I hope Maeda says something-

My bleeping God. This is THE most infamous hentai anime in history. "Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend". Most people who don't know jack about anime cited this as what all anime is like back in the day.

BTW, according to the Anime Encyclopedia V.2 (of which I contributed corrections back in the day), the title I listed is the actual English title.

you should not change the display title to that, since it is not in the booklet. That title should be as optional.

Correct.

@Daemonskald: as far as I can see, those are released by Nippon Columbia so they're not related to this one. There are some JAVN vhs pictures here (first image) but I couldn't find anything about a box.
