Restructuring the Submission Guidelines
Over the course of the three years that VGMdb has been open for public submission, we've discovered and presented an incredible amount of information while maintaining a reasonably high standard for accuracy. However, there are still a number of questions that arise, and quite a few inconsistencies that currently exist in regards to our submission policies.
We are currently beginning the process of reviewing our submission guidelines and discussing changes. This process will ultimately cover every aspect of data submission to VGMdb, so it is actually quite important for all of our visitors to follow the progress, and to participate if possible. Changes to the interface and data structure are also potential outcomes. A new subforum has been created to house the discussions. We're starting off with Album Titles. The end result of this process will be a tighter set of submission guidelines with less irregularities that supports our standards for accuracy. |
