Default FLAC to MP3

I recently bought an album online (FLAC), and would like to convert it to MP3 for my Ipod. Does anyone here know an easy way to do this? I tried googling this but got decade old answers that don't work and people arguing over which type has the best quality. Thanks.

If you're on Windows and you're already using foobar2000 to play audio files, you can just load the tracks in it, select them, right-click and go to convert. You want to make sure to set MP3 as output format obviously.

There are many other alternatives though... fre:ac should be fine.

I would add that 320 CBR isn't better than V0 VBR encode, you basically get the same result, only difference is V0 saves space: it will use lower bitrate on less complex parts and increase as needed when the sound gets 'richer'. Only advantage of CBR is better compatibilty with players but in all seriousness, almost anything can play mp3 nowadays.
