Default MP3 or ACC? Did I make a mistake?

I chose MP3. At first MP3 seemed like the better option as opposed to FLAC if I wanted to save space but now I'm learning ACC is suppose to have better quality than MP3 at the same bitrate?

Did I make the wrong choice? Should I throw away my files and start from FLAC again and encode FLAC -> ACC instead of my current situation of FLAC -> MP3(VBR:192-320)?

I got about 35GB of MP3 files in question here. I could do it but I won't unless the quality is worth it. Right now my norm for my library is MP3 VBR and if I should replace MP3 with ACC in the future I'd rather do it early.

If you have to ask then the answer is no. You're probably not in a position to realize the difference.
