Default Playing videogames on Plasma tvs

Another help I'm asking...
I have the chance to get a incredible quality Pioneer 50" plasma screen.. but I've heard there're problems playing videogames on plasma displays.
I wonder... is the problem if you play how much hours?
Can anyone give me details, please?

The wikipedia article on plasma displays is quite good, so you might want to look over that if you haven't.

The problems you may have heard of are mainly image retention and screen burn-in, two things that were a problem mainly in older generation plasma screens (-2006). For never TV's it's not really a problem in my experience, even with cheaper models. And if you get either a Panasonic or Pioneer (the two best brands for plasmas) I don't think there should be any problems like that at all. The only other thing I can think of is that since plasma TVs use glass screens they reflect more light than LCD screens - though newer models often have anti-reflex coating to limit that. Overall plasma is much better for moving pictures (films, games), while LCD is better for more static images (photos, web browsing).

But what is the model of the Pioneer screen you're thinking of buying?
