Valve has updated their system for selling soundtracks on Steam. Owning the base game is no longer a requirement for purchasing.

We'll probably be able to update a lot of these albums to non-Enclosure once the publishers migrate over to the new category.

Also, they added support for lossless formats.

They have had lossless files already sold on soundtrack DLC, but now people can choose if they want to download just the MP3 files or opt-in to download the FLAC etc. too.

Kinda wish this would make Capcom to release that RE2 remake soundtrack on Steam and add lossless files like they did with RE7.
