The title of the ED is ぴてぃぱてぃサバイバード but I don't have the slightest clue how to romanize it. Wikipedia uses "Pitty Patty Survibird".

maybe pitty-patty survivored (sort of adjective for survivor)
but lyrics could have details |

I'm assuming the Survibird part is correct, still no idea about the rest.
The lyrics are pretty random so I don't know if they'll be of any help. Last edited by Illidan; Aug 20, 2014 at 02:18 AM. |

I assume the contrary, there is no "bird" in any form (kanji, etc.) in the lyrics
so survibird makes no sense or that -bird is supposed to have a sense I don't understand (but I doubt it) hence my previous post, using "survivor" (for a survival game anime) + past form "-ed" edit: apparently, I didn't see the "tori" kanji Last edited by Phonograph; Aug 20, 2014 at 03:11 AM. |

Actually, I think there's some kind of bird in the anime, though I'm not really sure since I'm not watching it, and assuming this is correct
ぴーてぃくぱーてぃく 鳥さんも鬼さんも 手つなぐんだぜ? 一緒にまわれば Also it's pretty consistently romanized as Survibird (or SurviBird) pretty much everywhere. The first part is different, some variations are Pity Paty, Piti Pati, Pity Party and so on. Actually, now that I think about it Pity Party might be correct, even if it's a bit of a stretch (not that Survibird isn't) |

the problem is that "kind of bird" isn't a bird, it's a platypus (as far as it's known, it's a mammal, not a bird)
it's probably an error from japanese to use 鳥 because that "kind of bird" is named カモ like in カモノハシ (platypus) in the case they mean bird for him it's maybe not even related to the title of the track |

My bad, should have checked the characters on the site. I wouldn't be surprised if it was called bird as a joke though.
I'm not saying Survibird is correct anyway, so you can change it if you believe Survivored is more correct. I just used it because it's more common and I saw that in the lyrics. |

actually, maybe it's better to leave "survibird" (because of internet common use)
even if I think, for a "survival game" anime, "survivor(+ed)" has a better sense than "survibird" however, online dictionaries use pitty-patty instead of pitty patty |

What's more common on the internet doesn't matter. Websites just copy each other so the first one that shows up just gets spread to all the other sites.
