EDIT: I'm assuming the track is misspelled everywhere, if some places have the correct spelling (like in game or in the booklet), it's fine to use that.
I reckon we should change it to "Lonliness" for now. I'll check the game files and the booklet when I get the album when I can. I think JASRAC also misspelt "Entreaty" and "Enteaty" in one of the other tracks, but that seems to have been fixed in this digital release.

Will someone please take the time to scan the Type C album?

I noticed the runtime for Garfont Mercenaries is different on the Type B CD compared to the digital download. It's 9 seconds shorter. My guess is it's because on the CD that track plays directly into it's nighttime version instead of fading out. I assume the Type C CD does the same, but what's the runtime on the USB version?

I'd imagine it's the same, but I can ask on reddit.

Also, the booklet for the OST doesn't mention anything about Abounnasr doing string arrangement for One Last You. Unless I'm missing something. I'll take another look later, but I didn't notice anything on my first look through it. She was credited for orchestration on a bunch of the earlier tracks on the same disc, but not for One Last You (although One Last You doesn't exactly require orchestration).

I'll probably add all the arrangement credits in a bit. I'll use the same format as what's on the Xenoblade 1 OST page since it's credited in a similar way to the Xenoblade 1 OST booklet.

One interesting thing to note though: Manami Kiyota arranged "Orbital Ring" (with no Mitsuda involvement for the arrangement). This kinda surprised me a little, so I figured I'd share for now. Again, I'll add the booklet credits later, if no one gets there before me.

Hopefully this is readable, but I've taken photos of the artist pages that credit the composers, arrangers, etc. I've also taken photos of the OST staff list. If anyone wants to add these (before I get to them), go ahead.

Spoiler:

Anyone know if it actually says 'Type A' anywhere at all on the physical item? I got Type B and I don't see any mention of 'Type' printed there either, even on the outer sticker.

It says "Xenoblade2 Original Soundtrack【Deluxe Edition】" in the booklet of Type B. Not sure if this would warrant a change on the page for the OST though, especially when it just says "Xenoblade2 Original Soundtrack" on the front of the booklet.

Has anyone looked into how to submit a replacement request for overseas buyers? Is shipping to a proxy the only choice?

Use the form, there is nothing limiting international purchasers.

Not even sure if I want to request a replacement, Garfont Mercenaries is one of my least liked on the whole OST...

I'm still glad they're offering.

That's very true. Mitsuda, the perfectionist that he is, is probably kicking himself for this oversight--even if there's no way to tell who/what was responsible.

Are they shipping it internationally? Or is it only available for Japan?

It seems to ask for a Japanese postcode and address. I have asked them on twitter but they aren't responding, so I might send an email to the support email they have attached on their site regarding this mastering error.

Otherwise I'll probably have to end up using a proxy service. It won't be free but it's only a small expense, I suppose.

EDIT: I just read above. I'll try use a proxy and see what I can do.

That's odd. They specifically state that they would be taking requests for replacements up until the 30th of June, 2021.

I know a lot of people over on the /r/Xenoblade_Chronicles subreddit submitted an application, so maybe they might be reworking the form in order to cater to an international audience, considering that they would've received a fairly large number of English submissions by now.

Yeah, it seems like they modified it so that they'd accept international orders, although there aren't any major changes. Or at least after they put it back up they responded to my (and many others') tweet asking about international shipping.

https://twitter.com/PROCYONSTUDIO/st...76756601307136

Just to clarify, I believe that anyone who's already filled in the form will need to fill it in again since they've redone the form. Unless I'm reading this tweet incorrectly.

They didn't change anything on the form and did not add anything to reference or distinguish international orders. The only thing they changed was the ability to add more than one receipt for people who bought more than one copy of the album.

They didn't directly in the tweet, no. And I said that the form isn't much different, however they only responded to people about international shipping after they updated the form, so I suspect it had something to do with it.

A few examples:

Regardless however, you'd need to fill in the form again if you had done so already, so it doesn't really matter whether or not they changed it so that international shipping was possible. There's no visible change in the form apart from the second receipt option.

Should the new CD mean there's an entire new tracklist, so there will be one for the old Disc 2 and one for the new Disc 2?

Also I noticed that the times on the CD album entries aren't entirely accurate and some tracks are off by a second or two. Probably because they were based on the digital releases. They're accurate enough for freedb (except for the old Disc 2) but should they be updated to be accurate to a CD rip?

I updated them from CD source. Times should always be accurate to the physical source, not the digital source or a website source. The tracklist should be modified with the correct physical source time for the new version and the old one should just be referenced. I didn't update them because freedb worked so they were within the +/- 2s range.

In EAC, Database --> Export CD Information To... --> Clipboard --> VGMdb page --> Edit Tracklist --> change the option dropdown from "Transfer title and length" to "Transfer length only" before pasting --> paste tracklist --> remove extra header stuff at the top of the paste --> click anywhere else on the page to propagate track times.

Times should not be copied from digital source or a web source (like iTunes) but sometimes people add them in before the physical product is out. Or they add them from improper rips that have lead-in/lead-out silence. In general, don't update track times if you don't have the physical source.

As far as I know we have never maintained the old "replaced" versions of things like this but the ones I've done in the past have all just been tracklist errors, not track time errors. I don't think there's value in having the bad tracklist exist just to be freedb queryable for the people who still have the disc.

*edit* I updated Type B, because that is the one that I own. Type A has to be copied from digital source from the files on the USB and it should not be assumed they are the same times as Type B and C. It's probably safe to assume Type B and Type C are the same sans the bonus disc but I don't want to assume that either.

Hi there,

Sorry but about the DiSC-2 request i got a problem, if anyone can help filling it:

The request form is "strange".
You only have 2 field for your adress:

Zip Code > OK
Adress > OK
????
????

Where do you even select you country + city ? Do you put everything into adress field ? Just like that: "adress, City, Country" ?

Put everything in the address field, including your country.
