Added remixers based on list that Sakimoto's assistant gave me.

I think the only valid translation for 野口勇介 is "Yuusuke Noguchi", but I could be wrong.

This webpage indeed points to ノグチ ユウスケ. Seems quite reliable to me.

The quality of our translation wasn't particularly good, as evidenced by the fact that there was only one contributor whose ability was below an average, and we had another fan translation which might have been partly based on ours given the addition of double quotations or overall similarity but was definitely better (maybe excepting 2-13) anyway and I was actually going to adjust ours to it.
Ours; Spoiler:
Another; (colored = different than above) Spoiler:
Today, though, the digital version is released and this album is now available on the US iTunes Store, which means the tracks are finally translated, possibly, by a professional. What I like about official translation is that they're generally less literal, long-winded, yet more reflective of the game's setting, world, context, etc., so I expected something of official quality, but... Spoiler:
!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, be it a copy-paste pr coincidence, it doesn't matter to me. I am more worried that some dubs such as "Are The Customers Pigeons?" now became official. Note that tracks like "Desperate Fight" or "Championship" are also a kind of wrong translations that were once submitted to GMRonline and VGMdb... |

Wow, that's pretty shameless. If they used an exact copy, it'd be possible they mistaken our tracklist with an official one and just reused it, but since they went and randomly changed tracknames, it's just a lazy job.
Capcom did something similar for Makaimura Collection, apparently they took the track names for Demon's Crest from an SPC set... For shame. While we are at it, and disregarding the "official" hackjob, if may I suggest some nitpicky changes... (based on the above) Spoiler:

Thanks for great suggestions!
I'll reflect them, and perhaps use the revised version as the display tracklist. I was also stuck with 1-16, but there is a common saying "お客様は神様" (Okyaku-sama ha Kami-sama = The customer is always right.). The track name was, with a similar sounding (Okyaku-sama ha Okane-sama), an attempt to imply the reverse thing. I failed to do it right. Someone familiar with the game can contribute more. I guess "決勝戦" from VC2 (2-17) has to be "Laevatein Cup Finals" |

Good, so that future/fortune thing wasn't just me. I thought that had to be wrong, but I didn't feel like speaking out. (I would use "Nameless Heroes," myself.)

is it really fair to credit all these older games if we're talking about arrangements actually used in game to establish "series themes"? that's silly. that means every single shin sangokumusou album needs to have SOME older game credited because nearly all of them use an arrangement of songs like DYNASTY WARRIORS, DEATHBLOW, so on and so forth.
an arrange album targeting a number of games? good. an entry in a series that rearranges some tracks from older games for the hell of it? bad. surely that's reasonable? (all caps thing is just me trying to match the "ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK" bit. tracklists look a little better that way too. i mean if we're gonna do this whole "english, even against logic" thing, may as well do it right) |

well, i'm just assuming, not really any other reason they'd be there. but if they're just there to be a nice bonus for the album, there wouldn't be a problem with crediting, of course.
oh, it does actually say "bonus track" in the booklet. for some reason i missed that before... sorry about that, carry on. my points still stand, though. pokemon was like that a little while ago, and that game /does/ reuse tracks. |

- Added catalogue number to discs in Album Info
- Corrected some of the English (Official) casing on some words. Not sure if they were originally correct and later changed on iTunes since this release is a bit old. |
