Default Lord of Apocalypse (PSP/Vita)

Does this remind anyone else of Keiichi Okabe/MONACA's work on Nier? The chord progressions of the both pieces sound awfully familiar.

It does sound familiar, though the one track in the official site makes me wonder.
But more importantly, the story kind of feels Cavia-ish, may their soul rest in peace. Is this the second coming of Yokoo? One can only hope!

it's not supposed to be ps vita game only?
seeing the screenshots of it, the game could suck (because it could become better)
but after seeing army corps of hell, this game will suck very hard

Hmm, sounds good. Doesn't sound very MONACA-ish, though.

I had this same thought. But the game is being developed internally at Square Enix... It would be too much a miracle for Cavia to have been absorbed into SE.

Not that SE deserves any of Cavia's talent. <.<

Actually I believe the game is a pseudo-sequel of Lord of Arcana by Access Games (better known for the lovely Deadly Premonition), so like Phono says no doubt it'll suck.

But nothing is stopping S-E of throwing in some external, talented staffer or two... maybe?

The game seems to use some tracks from LoV II as well.

Old news I guess, but Yokoo is back with Drag-on Dragoon / Drakengard 3 and they even have a very nice arrangement of Tsukiru / Growing Wings in the official site (by Sano himself).

MONACA's Keiichi Okabe is involved, I hope we get some more tracks in DOD1's disssonant style too!

In a bizarre twist of fate the game is being developed by Lord of Apocalypse maker Access Games. ( ゚Д゚)

I had no idea Sano did a new arrangement! I avoided looking at the website because I knew Okabe was announced as composer. I just really did not enjoy NIER's soundtrack.

Perhaps there's hope that Sano is returning as Music Director.
