Sonic 30th Anniversary Symphony

I loved watching the performance. A great tribute to a franchise known for fantastic music.

Although a funny thought did come across my mind. The FILMharmonic Orchestra in Prague is known for doing score recordings, including video games. The musicians are usually dressed in casual clothes during those recordings since no one is watching them unless it's for a documentary. So I wonder how uncomfortable some of them felt wearing tuxes for this symphony.

Anyone know this piece in the "Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles Medley" before it segues into Sky Sanctuary Zone? They're playing scenes from Mushroom Hill Zone and Sky Sanctuary Zone in the background, but obviously it's not those or anything else from Sonic 3 or Sonic & Knuckles unless it was heavily altered from the source music.

It sounds like a character theme but it could be an original interlude composed by Jan Sanejko for the medley. Or they dipped into the rich pool of music that was composed for the game but never used.

Edit: I guess it could just be the latter part of Angel Island Zone that begins at 0:45 in Act 1 and 0:52 in Act 2, with the first notes pretty much intact and the others modified/added. Angel Island Zone Act 1 precedes this part in the medley, so it makes sense. It's amazing how different it sounds with just a few things changed.
