Bandcamp is just one of the places you can download this album; it's also available for free through some mirrors and a torrent (these are even linked on the Bandcamp album page). I think the price should be set to free, but does a Bandcamp "name your price" release trump everything else?
Incidentally, the only reason this album had a required purchase price for a while is that Bandcamp only lets artists give out a finite number of free downloads per month. |

Materia's re-releasing this one and licensing it. Does it make sense to update the status to "official", or create a duplicate for the re-release?

The classification of the original album shouldn't be changed retroactively and, generally, the notes section of the parent digital album can be the place to cover the existence of digital reissues.
However, in this case, I think there's enough changing here to make it a point of interest and can legitimately be created as a child album. |
