i think the official name is "Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned".

It's an official mix actually, since The Ballad of Gay Tony (second GTA 4 expansion) never had 'IV' in logo, Rockstar is also referring to Lost and Damned without IV in multiple cases.
I guess version with IV was first, but it can go either way. |

As Efendija said, it is both. Originally it has the GTA IV attachment but it was also distributed on Liberty City Stories with Gay Tony, which didn't require the GTA IV original installation.
So it may help to distinguish which portion the game falls in (between III and V). On the other hand it does show up on the Covers and images all over the site, so I would say it probably is best to add the IV |
