I dunno if this is known or not, but the "Maguro" listed for World of Illusion, is Sasaki. So that game had two female composers the entire time. xD

I'm not so sure we should be copying text from other sources, uncredited.
http://www.giantbomb.com/tomoko-sasaki/72-10157/ I grant that nobody has been writing any original content for this field, so maybe we should consider allowing referenced content from certain sources. |

Maybe we could add a source and URL to the bio fields, like we have on the pictures? The bio fields are often never used, and when it actually is the profile looks way better.

I'll reject the edit, since I feel like that directly copy-and-pasting texts from a third party source without no credit would lower our class (not pretending that we's special; we pretty much rely on them otherwise). And what if the copied text becomes outdated.
If we lean on other sites for biography, I'd rather write some scripts for extracting the initial 200 characters or such of from specific sites like SEMO or Wikipedia, and then adding [read full story] links to encourage readers to visit the original articles. It'd require some site specific adjustments. Or we could merge the note and biography, since the biography field has been (and will be) basically underused . I myself often am less than sure where to put some trivial information. |

Out of curiosity, is there a particular reason none of the albums for Tomoko Sasaki's "Serani Poji" project are included in the database here?
http://www.seranipoji.com/#/discography "Serani Poji" was the fictional pop artist in the Dreamcast game Roommania #203, and the first SP album included the songs Sasaki wrote for her in-game appearances. Subsequent albums weren't tied to any particular game, but continued the conceit of the "artist's" fictional identity. Even if they were completely non-game related Sasaki solo albums, I'd think her stature as a VGM artist would warrant their inclusion, but they actually are game-related, so it's doubly surprising to me they haven't been acknowledged here. Just thought it'd be worth bringing up. |

It's probably that nobody thought to add them yet.

Why does her name usually get rendered in Katakana rather than Kanji? It doesn't make sense, as she's Japanese and her name is Japanese.

It's a style artists sometimes prefer. Koichi Sugiyama does the same.
