Questions about Foobar
I questions about Foobar I hope someone can help me out with.
Files in Foobar have information, and keep the information after I convert them to different formats. But once I put these files in ITunes, they go blank and don't show any information. It's a hassle because it would be too time consuming to put in the information for all the files all over again. Another issue I have is with converting several files at once. Foobar skips over files with the same name, but converting bit by bit can take a long time when you have a lot of files. Maybe that's just the way it is, I don't know. One last issue is that sometimes Foobar fails to convert multiple files at once, which sometimes leaves me to have to convert the files one by one which takes a long time. Sometimes restarting Foobar or my computer fixes this. |

foobar2000 has its support forums on HydrogenAudio, so I suggest you post these bugreports there.

All I can say about the first one is that iTunes tends to do thing I don't want it to do with files. If you make a file read only, put it in iTunes like you've done before, and then load that same file into foobar, does the file still not show any information? If it does show information, then it's iTunes that's ruining the file tags and there's nothing you can do about it, unless you make everything read only.
But like LiquidAcid said, you'd probably have better responses at HydrogenAudio. |
