The bad news is that collector's edition won't be available for North America.

If i am right looking at the picture, we can (not clearly) see the tracklist.. so i guess there will be around 20 tracks.

Here's the best picture floating around for the moment.
If a sonic expert want to do the credits for the entry, go ahead.

Most of these tracks are featured in Sonic Generations in some way. A few of them are "upgraded" remixes (Angel Island, Mushroom Hill, and Toxic Caves for sure). I wonder what's on this disc, the new mixes or the original tracks? When somebody gets ahold of this CD, maybe they can let us know?

The composers listed for the Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles tracks make me sad. Will that mystery ever be solved?

Yokuhiko Uwabo told me he did not compose anything for Sonic 3, only arranged the sound team, and Masaru Setsumaru also did no music, only arranged the Act 2 stuff.
Masayuki Nagao only distinctly remembers arranging Hydrocity Act 2, he doesn't remember if his music made the game or not (or if he even made music at all to be submitted).

And Cirocco Jones told me this: "5 guys (me, Brad, Bobby, Darry, Geoff) spent what seemed like countless hours creating compositions with MJ... and then trying our best to technically balance what SEGA team wanted to create music for the sonic game. I was hired by Brad to come in to create different music cues and arrange on a lot of other ideas too. It was a long time ago... and was kinda challenging to say the least."

And that's all I have basically learned over the last few months.

P.S. I asked Jun if Angel Island was his, and he said he told me that SEGA doesn't allow him to speak of old projects from that era. Besides, if it WAS his composition, his name would be listed on the various place Angel Island Zone has been credited towards a composer. It's always a generic SEGA. (Besides the Sonic 10th CD, which I'm beginning to believe just listed two generic composers, Tomonori Sawada & Yoshiaki Kashima, instead of who really did it.)

I mean no offense, but the Internet is like a piece of paper: it holds anything you write on it.

Don't get me wrong, I certainly appreciate your post, I simply believe it would be beneficial to us if you could post the source of your claims.

Well, they are all PMs and stuff, so you wouldn't be able to see them directly. I suppose I could take screenshots of these?

And Jun deleted his tweet to me, so I can't give you that source, but I can affirm you what I am telling you is what they told me.

It wouldn't hurt, quite frankly. And I understand the Twitter one; I'm sure he wouldn't mind being asked anew.

The catalog number on the disc scan here is different; MIS-SGCD-EU

I'm not sure where the entry's current catalog number comes from, but is there any chance it's incorrect? Otherwise, do we make a new entry?
