Full scans added with music sheet included (took me quite a while of hunting to find a good complete copy). Liner notes feature a Q&A with veteran player ZBL-NAI and CAVE headguy IKD, and there's even some not seen before art.

To my surprise, this album has no credits for any of both games, which raises a question I wanted to discuss:
Were Eddie You and Andrew Parsons Lin actually the composers for DoDonpachi?.
According to the DDP II / DDP album they are composers, but it doesn't state track-specific credits. That and the fact this album doesn't show credits makes me doubt. Specially more after seeing that in the game's ending credits there's no mention of music/sound staff whatsoever:

Whereas ESPrade did have music composer mention on the ending credits ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhCj-nA8A7s at 1:00) and it's further confirmed on the ESPrade/Guwange album.
Honestly I don't think Eddie You and Andrew Parsons Lin composed both DDPs, as DDP II is far too different in style (and inferior) to the original DDP. So I'm guessing they just did DDP II and that's why they're credited on the DDP II / DDP album, for having worked on DDP II.
Unfortunately, I can't find a video of the ending credits of DDP II (and it's still not properly emulated to be playable) to shed more light on this issue, so I guess we have wait to wait until more information becomes avaliable.
Personally I'd unlink both composers from this album, as there's no definite proof, but you have the final say on this matter, and I'd like to know what you think.

PD: Classic CAVE music, gotta love it. Some people argued that DDP sounded cheesy, but I say it's the most epic cheesy music I've ever heard.
Nothing beats that Stage 1 & 4 theme.

I find it very hard to believe that DDP was composed by anyone but Ryuichi Yabuki, because if I remember correctly him and Kusunoki were all CAVE had at the time, and DDP sounds an awful lot like DP and Dangun...

Everything I can find suggests that "DEICIDE" is correct and that "DECIDE" was the typo. Seems to be taken from a comment Kusunoki wrote... somewhere? Either way, the common knowledge is that it's a reference to the metal band Deicide and something else I can't quite make out.

Eddie You and Andrew Parsons Lin are the IGS sound team, I still don't get why they are credited for DDP. Ryuichi Yabuki is credited in the staff roll, I think that's enough reason to change this and all the other DDP entries.

DDP is different from DP. DDP should've got more tracks than playing the loop in the last 3 stages.

Bit of a bump, but I missed that post...

Oh, definitely. I'm just saying the musical style is dead-on with DP and Dangun, two other games released in that era. Having three tracks for six stages and starting that stupid running joke with the final boss themes is just painful.

That is, where the very nice actual final boss themes get thrown out after about 10 seconds and the normal boss theme comes in for the rest of the pre-Hibachi fight. It's already bad enough that the pre-Hibachi fight isn't much.

I'm removing them from this album. They should be removed from http://vgmdb.net/album/32635 as well.

I haven't verified this but allegedly the Cave Shooting History book credits DDP to T's Music, which possibly points to Masahiro Kusunoki having done that game too?

the List page on their site only list Donpachi

http://www.tsmusic.co.jp/list/search_result.php

Also lists a lot of works where they only worked as performers, not composers
