I'd say it's early Namiki at its finest. It does sound somewhat more varied than later works of his, so there's probably something that anyone can enjoy. Some tracks here, are some of his best compositions up to date, like "Flying to the leaden sky" with its upbeat yet "epic" tone or "Subsversive Awereness" which sports the same combination but with a much more sad tone to it. And not only that, but you also get a full arrangement of every single song as well, some of them being quite interesting like "Degeneracy" or "Marginal Conciousness".

For me, it's worth every single cent and more

Yep this is what put Manabu on the map, and tracks like Flying to the Leaden Sky are still remixed very frequently in STG doujin circles.
