Moby Games shows that the Kaori Takazoe on this album is the same as the one in the database already.

As the game in question is also by Human I take that as confirmation. But in general I wouldn't rely on Mobygames without further proofs as they have a track record of combining unrelated people that happen to have the same romanized names.

This insert has company/composer credits: https://vgmdb.net/db/covers.php?do=view&cover=402671
Any reason why some peoples' names (Kinuyo Yamashita, Kenji Ikeda) are in English alphabet while nearly everyone else's (依田章子, 山田 耕次) are in Kanji? |

That's probably how the magazine got the credits from the developer/publisher. Not all Japanese in-game credits are in kanji either.

For CHz whenever you get around to this one: note that the Super Formation Soccer '94 and Tae Kwon Do tracks are listed as synth versions but they're actually the in-game versions. Nothing on this disc is arranged.
Also it's a goddamn crime that all the other Sailor Moon games from this era got full OST releases but all we have of Aki Hata's Mega Drive version is the three tracks here. Also also this album would probably generate a bit more interest if we had "Slapstick" listed under its localized title, Robotrek. Last edited by Aifread; Mar 25, 2022 at 06:37 AM. |

One more thing regarding Sailor Moon: according to game rips it seems track 29 is an unused track accessible only through the sound test.

IKR? All these Bishoujo Senshi tracks slap. They could've picked any three from this game and called it a day. What a sin this was largely ignored. And leave it to a Super Famicom publication to release Mega Drive music!
Any idea where they got those Sailor Moon track names from? They seem arbitrary. SFC Magazine usually puts "BGM1" or something. I wonder if Aki Hata named those herself? |

It's anyone's guess who names the tracks for anything. Sometimes it's the composer, sometimes it's the sound director or someone else involved with development, sometimes it's someone involved with the album release. Like Datschge mentioned regarding the credits, the track titles for these also are just whatever the magazine publisher got from the game company.
