Though I'd wait for more info, as that release date doesn't really give me a lot of confidence.

According to this, it is going to include Atelier Marie all the way to Shallie. It will also have the soundtracks to numerous games Gust released before Marie. It says 45 discs in all.

it's a release day, i.e a wednesday
record companies don't usually make april's fools 2 months in advance especially if it could waste 45 catalogues just for a bad joke

personally, I think that release could finish cancelled
too many cds, it's hazardous and expensive to produce (could have the same fate as that namco box)

I think we can conclude now it's a legit release then, and if it does come to fruition, it'd be not only a good chance to get previously unreleased soundtracks, but also to get reprints for the rarer albums.

The CDJapan description says it's also going to have soundtracks for Meru Purana, Falcata, The Adventures of Robin Lloyd, Taishou Mononoke Ibunroku, Welcome House 1 & 2, Hresvelgr, and Noir Yeux Noire.

actually, it'd have been maybe better to release an atelier box (and maybe nosurge box too)
and then release another box with games like those listed by chz

that box is too huge and expensive (I saw a site that removed that box from their listing, I wonder if other sites won't follow too)

Hmm, this is certainly a nice item, and I would probably buy it, if I didn't already own most of the Gust works that I actually like.

Some in a sense I agree with Phono here. The box is maybe a bit too big.

Though it's still too early for a Surge Concerto box, as they only have two games under their belt.

and I never said it should be now, let's wait for a 10th anniversary at least

In other words, an EXA_PICO boxset?
Not a bad idea, but that's sure to piss off the people that bought the Kurt Hymneth boxset two years ago.

you probably misunderstood me, in all my examples of boxes, I spoke about boxes with soundtracks (since that gust box has soundtracks)
hymneth being mainly a box with songs, that shouldn't piss off people who bought hymneth

So this is apparently already out of print on CDJapan.

It's still available on amazon, if it's sold directly by them (not from the marketplace) you don't need a middleman.

For anyone that cares: 89 Gust albums are currently only 390 yen on Amazon Music - http://www.amazon.co.jp/b/ref=amb_li...d_i=2128134051

Includes most of the titles from this box.

Pretty good deal if you don't mind buying digital (mp3 v0). There's even some 3CD titles that have that low price.

1. Add some yen to your account (you can pay for it with any currency): https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/gc/create

2. Go to your account settings and "Manage Addresses and 1-Click Settings": https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/css/acco...ress/view.html

3. Create a Japanese address (you put whatever, it doesn't matter) and set the payment method to "Convenience store / ATM / Internet banking / e-Money payment" so Amazon will use automatically use your gift card balance (that you got in step 1) instead prompting you for a credit card.

It sounds complicated but it really doesn't take more than five minutes to set up.

just noticed ... this box doesn't have the soundtracks for any of the handheld Atelier games, nor does it have the Hermina and Culus (Atelier Lilie side story) OST.

Ah well. :P

nextday, That worked very well, thanks. ( I brought too many, I even had to split my order :-). The maximum number albums that can be purchased at a time is only 50 )

I did not need a vpn
Note for anyone else, make sure the new address is set as the default address.

44 discs...guys I think this just MIGHT be a world record for "Largest Video Game Music Album Release".

It is without question. I don't know of any prior to have exceeded 25 discs. This is a pretty insane pressing of music.

The catalog number "KECH-8005~48" isn't mentioned anywhere on the box, only "KECH-8005". The discs themselves have catalog numbers starting from KECX-8005 to KECX-8048.
The only site that mentions "KECH-8005~48" is the official site for the box, but it is not printed on the physical product.

Edit: The previous tracklist was missing one track from disc 43, so I had to add a new tracklist. Please delete the previous one. Scans will be up when I have time to convert 83 images to jpg.

Edit 2: All the scans are uploaded now. The lyric cards were digital only, that you were able to download with the code given in the art book. Nothing else is sadly possible to scan for me, since I don't own an industrial size scanner. The box is made of a hard material, so it's impossible to bend into a scanner, and if I tried to scan it with my scanner, it would just yield extremely blurry images. I took some pictures of the box, CD book, art book, and USB, if anyone is interested. https://imgur.com/a/8Bfr3

Oh, and the image called "Box", that is simply the wallpaper that was available to download together with the lyric cards.

I have a question about the last Disc on this set, featuring music from the Atelier DLC stuff. So, I figured out the first 6 tracks are from Atelier Meruru DLC, released on "Atelier Ayesha Recollection Archives" before - tracks 7 to 15 are from Atelier Ayesha DLC, already released on "Atelier Escha & Logy -Alchemist of Dusk Sky- Recollection Archives" before, but I couldn't figure out the origins of the last couple of tracks (16-25). Any idea from which games they are and whether they have been released before or not?

As far as I see, they're from Atelier Shallie, and I don't remember them being present in any previous release.
