This mammoth of a project has met some delay, that was inevitable since a double cd basically became a 6 CD project (with one of them being dedicated exclusively to newly SID composed tracks!), but it'll see its release within the year, I'm pretty sure.

The track listing will be open to some revision but there will almost certainly be:
At least 6 tracks from The Last Ninja 2, at least 2 tracks from Tusker, at least 2 tracks from Dominator, Driller, Bangkok Knights, Hunter's Moon, Vendetta, Maze Mania, Quedex, Motocross, Treasure Island Dizzy, and others


Still three discs to go, of which the third one sounds epic:

[third disc] £40,000 - This goal has now been hit, and the album will now become a 3 disk set, because I will produce six new SIDs for a real Commodore 64 (and obviously put them on audio CD as well).

[fourth disc] £60,000 – This goal has now been hit, so I will add a further CD with another 10 remakes from my games soundtracks to make the album a TRIPLE CD.

[fifth disc] £75,000 - All the [£61,500-£73,500 stretch goals] remakes on a physical CD for Level 2+ backers. Level 1 will be downloads only.

£61,500 - The replacement Rob Hubbard track, as Sanxion is now a given. This will be a mystery track chosen by myself at a later date.
£63,000 - Green Beret Loader by Martin Galway.
£64,500 - A Chris Huelsbeck classic chosen by myself and remade by me also.
£66,000 - Arcade Classics by Rob Hubbard.
£67,500 - Rambo First Blood Part 2 Loader by Martin Galway.
£69,000 - A Matt Gray track remade by Chris Huelsbeck.
£70,500 - Knucklebusters by Rob Hubbard.
£72,000 - A Matt Gray track remade by Chris Huelsbeck, Audun Sorlie and Eirik Suhrke.
£73,500 - Arkanoid by Martin Galway.
£75,000 - All the above remakes on a physical CD for Level 2+ backers. Level 1 will be downloads only.


The [sixth disc] of this mammoth Kickstarter was actually the first to be completed, was digitally released on 2 Nov. 2016 and counts as a separate release which will be also given the double LP treatment.

Kickstarter update: disc three and four will be crammed together to save costs.
So it's becoming a 4 disc set (not counting the separate Last NInja 2).

Reformation disc 4 digitally released today. Now I only need a moderator with priviges to edit album info from 5 cd to 4 cd, and I can submit the tracklist.

It's not really Redbook then anymore, but I have dealt with media cabable of storing 95min of music. The problem here isn't so much reading the media, but finding a device which can handle the higher track density when burning.

EDIT: Also, the media weren't exactly cheap. Not sure how this translates to (glass) mastering this media.

Never mind, Matt Gray confirmed that the last three tracks (the Dominator EP) were just a download bonus to make up for the wait, and won't be pressed in the final disc.

Received my C64 style box today, but going by the updates and replies from people, this started shipping out in the end of January, so I've updated the release date. I just noticed that REFORMATION 2 doesn't have an entry for the CD edition.
