The very first printing of this CD had a "printing mishap" in the liner notes.

The actual notice, in English, from Grasshopper's site:

18 Mar 2008

Important information for customers who ordered "NO MORE HEROES SOUND TRACKS: DARK SIDE"

There's been a printing mishap involving the "DARK SIDE" CD liner notes.
We are currently rushing the correct the mistake.

If you're placing an order for the CD at this point,
please be advised that shipment of the revised version will take place at the end of March.

If your copy of the CD has already been shipped,
we will be sending you the revised version shortly.
There are no defects in the contents of the CD itself.

We're very sorry for any inconvenience caused by this situation.
Thanks again for using the GhM Store!

Interesting. Any idea what this "printing mishap" might be? I wonder if it's major enough for this printing to become a collector's item in its own right =D

No clue. I got my copy in the mail yesterday and looked it over pretty carefully. No obvious "mishaps" anywhere and everything seems to be spelled correctly. Zane (from STC) should be getting his any day now and he seems to think he's getting the mishap version. If he does, I'll be sure to ask him what's wrong with it.

The Grasshopper Manufacture international store re-opened last month, and it's no longer a facebook-exclusive shop. Limited copies (currently less than 20 each) of this album are available, as well as The Silver #02 + PARADE, The Silver #02 DESTRUCTOR, and The virgin child makes her wish without feeling anything.

Unless I'm missing something, I guess I can't add shop links as a regular user. Could someone add these links to their respective albums, please?

Question, if anyone can answer it:

On track 9, in brackets should that really be "[ver.v]"? Because the "v" at the end is italicized and slightly bigger but not large enough to be a capital V, so is it supposed to be a Roman Numeral V? Just curious if there's a special Japanese character/letter for this and what it represents, and if the page info should be changed to reflect that.

Also just as a curious minor detail, THE RIOT -TEENS OF ANGER- go here by THE RIOT -怒りの10代- rather than using the character number 十 like on the No More Heroes 2 OST. Though "Teens of Anger" seems to be the official translation, what could 怒りの十代 literally translate to?

So, many years later after getting this album earlier this year, have a few answers.
It's neither a roman numeral or the letter v, but the lowercase greek Nu...
On NMH2 mini soundtrack you had track 4 as version Mu (μ) and track 5 as version Nu (ν).

TEENS of ANGER is a literal translation. Angry Teenagers would be better English, but no sense changing it. 十 is the kanji for 10 so it literally refers to people between the ages 10 and 19. It's a little different since -teen in English starts at 13.

Edit: Seems on vgmdb it's not apparent for Nu's more italicized appearance, but you can search a Greek alphabet to copy from if you want to be entirely sure.
