O...M....G....

Gotta get this for SURE!

EDIT: Now that my excitement has passed, this is a fantastic looking line up. I'm also keen on the idea that there will be two arrangements for each theme. It'll be interesting to compare how they are handled among the arrangers.

Of note: Soyo Oka! After Deathsmiles Arrange, she's doing this. Good to see her back in the biz!

Also, looking forward to OGR's arrangement. His Hello 31337 was amazing so it'll be interesting to see how he handles the arrangement of "Calm Down."

Very promising indeed!

Definitely lining up for a pre-order for this, amazing list of arrangers!

From my understanding, disc 1 will be based on the "human view point" and disc 2 will be based on the "machine view point" if I understood the Google Translation correctly.

I'm not sure about how to handle 小倉久佳音画制作所. This is his personal studio, and thus maybe it should be a unit, but this name appears as his alias in this article and interview...

Very Nice. It seems Kikuta has been hitting the tanning booth a lot.
The new blue tint for TECHNOuchi is different.

『ダライアスバーストリミックス ワンダーワールド』購入者には、さらに応募者全員プレゼント企画として、特典CD”La'b-Normal Limited”を用意しているようだ。

I think that means each purchase gets a mail-in entry for a chance to win an additional Bonus CD titled "La'b-normal Limited". (referencing the 3 Zuntata history albums released in 1999).

Now that's a reason to pre-order if I ever heard one. O.O;

This is what Cedille put in the notes of the VGMdb entry. Not sure if that's the same was what you are saying though...

This album is a promotional item which will be given to every applicant who purchases WONDER WORLD ~ DARIUSBURST REMIX, and contains ZUNTATA's unreleased music. What has been revealed so far is Dariusburst, Dinomax and an original drama of the Rayforce playthrough video.

Sure would be handy if it's included automatically with all the first pressings, rather than a mail-in contest like those Scitron bonuses used to be.

Which could be referring to music from the Visual Clip Vol.1 VHS/Laserdisc here

Oops. No idea why I added such a wrong date...

That album seems to be given to those who purchase the album and apply for some kinds of campaign or such. I'm not sure if they will accept applications from abroad...

In his email, he also signs his name:

OguraHisayoshiOngaSeisakushow

so, perhaps it should be considered an alias. Thoughts?

this stuff sounds great lots of different styles and moods. i think it's especially interesting hearing at least two different takes per song. that's a format i'd like to see more often.

From the sample vid I seemed to prefer the renditions on the Disc 2 side.
(And yes, having 2 different arranges of each song is nice).

A few scans. I didn't have time to do it all, but I included the performer credits scan for updating the album page.

I'm surprised Hibino is not credited as performer in the booklet. I believe he plays the saxophone on his own track... Maybe we should add him in the performer field?

Is there any confirmation such as liner notes or interviews?

Otherwise, I'd prefer not to add him, since it's not so uncommon that the performances from composers themselves aren't credited in the booklets, and to credit somebody, we need something more than "guessing". For example, we could easily guess composers like Sakuraba or Meguro usually play some instruments in their streamed soundtracks, but I think we normally don't add them in the performance field, if no credit is found in the booklets. Speaking of Sakuraba, however, I think it's okay to credit him in this album since this interview explicitly confirms the organ and drum parts were by him.

I can't imagine saxophone in a track by Hibino NOT being performed by Hibino. Given the instrument really stands out in this (amazing) track, I thought it would be normal to credit him. However I was just suggesting.

God Eater is certainly a very diverse album, I will have to give it another go. The only thing that irks me is the very first track, as I don't like the vocals, which, yes, did bring the album as a whole down a rung.

It bothers me greatly, since the same is true with the Fly Me To The Moon remix on Bayonetta OST. The OST is, otherwise, great, it even has some of my favourite boss battle themes, with "You May Call Me Father" being my goddamn absolute favourite of all time - crazy piano solo, I love you. But, you know, Fly Me To The GAHMAKEITSTOP!!!

And I forgot to mention Sekaiju no MeiQ 3 SUPER ARRANGE, which is just goddamn perfect in every conceivable way.

Which is probably why they included the original, for redemption! Although I personally loved the remix. And I'm partial towards The Greatest Jubilee (The Greatest Final Battle Theme Ever, more like!)
