The booklet points that this is one of the "Comics Image Album" and has no reference to the Anime Movie itself, but as the tracks were noted, this is the actual soundtrack for the movie.

This CD is part "Original Soundtrack" and Part "Image Album".

Also...
It says "Animel" in the back and sides of the cd case, but it was manufactured by Meldac. I am not sure what to put in label. :/

normal, since there is no anime movie for dark cat, but an ova (you probably saw that on ANN site)

mech-300xx catalogues seem to mainly be for comics/manga image albums (I wonder if those new dream hunter albums really are related to anime tho)
dark cat is so obcure that it's hard to find accurate info about it

Considering this contains the ed/insert songs for the OVA, I guess what RomanticScent said is correct.

The image album for the manga is probably TYCY-5133, "DARKCAT ORIGINAL ALBUM", that came out one and a half years before this one.

I submitted a scan for the case back (we had it in a rejected entry from 2 years ago) if anyone wants to take a look at that animel thing.

@RomanticScent: can you please provide a picture of the credits or write the kanji for some of the performers? Like Yutaka Asano, Teiji Taguchi, Hiroshi Fukamachi, etc. Unless they were credited in english, of course.

This album came was released a month before the Movie (or OVA. But I have seen being called officially as a Movie and some times as an OVA, but the word Movie got stuck in my head for some reason.), but the soundtrack of the movie is in this CD Album. Not only the 2 vocal tracks but the other tracks as I noted in the entry.

I cannot offer scans for the time being, and you know I can't do much about that, yet.
Those artists are not presented with kanji in the booklet. If they were, be sure that I would add that info. The names are presented exactly like that.

The TYCY-5133 release is the image album, yes.

Yes, it was probably rejected because there were no artist credits at all.

AFAIK the anime VHS was released on november 28, 1991 then it aired in theaters 1 month later, so the OVA classification is correct. I'm not 100% sure about the dates since almost every source changes them around, but they look correct.

If the artists aren't in kanji then it's fine, nevermind.

That probably was me who submitted it the first time. But most of my animel entries were rejected. I didn't have them on hand at the time neither.
