I have been fortunate enough to have heard Christopher Tin's Drop that Contained the Sea. It is the most extraordinary and cinematic cd I have ever heard. There will be a live performance in LA www.angelcitychorale.org for tickets. June 7&8.

I really enjoyed Tin's first album Calling All Dawns but I can't really get into this one. The only track that makes me come back from time to time is "Dark Clouds" with the bulgarian choir.

The rest of the tracks doesn't resonate with me at all. I get the impression that this is mainly due to most of them drowning in the bombastic choir. Instead of keeping me focused however this just makes me incredibly tired *yawn*
