Proper scans of booklet added.Unfortunately no proper scans for disc and obi etc.
--------------------------------- By the way,I have been encontering upload errors quite often lately, making it almost impossible to upload.I have to add scans after midnight. Maybe it's my connection, but can't we make some tweaks on the uploader and prevent this? |

What message are you getting? if you've got a slower connection, you might not be able to upload 10 scans at a time without timing out, so I'd recommend trying less scans and see if that helps at all.

The good old "The page cannot be displayed" thingie.
I tried to upload one by one but it doesn't help.Considering the scans are around 1-2m each...... :/ EDIT:Upload goes 30k-ish and fails randomly in the progress. Last edited by Cypher; Sep 27, 2008 at 04:26 PM. |

Hm, does it say who the people are in the picture (on page #02)? I recognise Kondo, Miyamoto and Tanaka, but not the rest.

It seems to me like the title of this should just be Super Mario Compact Disco. Other CDs include the artist name somewhere near the title, some even doing it right on the side (I think Actraiser does this, with Yuzo Koshiro's name following a slash separating it from the game's name), but it's just the artist's name. And this shortened title seems to be consistent with other sites listing this album.

I agree, since the booklet just has "Super Mario Compact Disco" I'd go with that (though the "ambassadors" bit is listed in the obi and logos).

as Taro Bando was credited on this release for his involvement with Super Mario Kart I've removed him.

Simon Harris is "Ambassadors of Funk" and Colin Case is "M.C. Mario". They are two people.

I'm adding Junichi Masuda as a composer here because he was the original composer of Yoshi (aka Mario & Yoshi / Yoshi's Egg) on track 9

Thanks Doesn't sound much better unfortunately. That "GO" in the background that repeats a million times gave me nausea. Reminded me of GO NINJA GO NINJA GO.
I like the O in OST. Just leave stuff the way it is |

There were unfortunately a lot of mediocre arrange albums like this in the '80s and '90s because record companies didn't see the appeal of bleeps and bloops. There were of course a handful of fantastic ones (orchestral and jazz albums from this time being better than a lot of what's being put out today), but still at the cost of any official release of the original music.

This is kind of a guilty pleasure album for me. I certainly won't try to convince anyone it's good, but it's... something. For what it's worth I liked that they remixed many of the more "obscure" Mario titles like Super Mario Land 2 for example.

Yeah I see what you mean. After all these are just for fun and shouldn't be taken too seriously
