normally, the week before the new year isn't counted in the winter season (just to say it's winter 2014, without 2013)

For once I have nothing to add to your list. I have to say, this season is pretty disappointing all around. Only really care about Senoo, Yoshimori and maybe Kouda. I hope Kato and Yokoyama will do something better than their average since they're both scoring big mecha anime this season but I'm doubtful. Also, it seems Iwasaki is back in full electronics mode going by the PVs...

It may be worth noting that Toshihiko Sahashi did the music for the recent Sailor Moon stage play. Doesn't mean he's going to do the music for the new anime but we can hope.

Edit: Oh, yeah, and speaking of Iwasaki, he tweeted recently that for the next few months he will be working on the music for an unannounced 2-cour anime.

Exactly my feelings from this winter season.
After good fall season, I found only few animes in which I would be interested after reading plot descriptions.

At least there's some interesting drama stuff? I haven't looked into it much but I know there's Yugo Kanno's Gunshi Kanbee which was performed by the Warsaw Philharmonic and the NHK Symphony Orchestra. Yuki Kajiura also returns with new music for Rekishi Hiwa Historia.

Yeah not to many things to be excited about compared to last season here (no Hiroyuki Sawano either???? D: )

Of course Tatsuya and Masaru prove once again that they can effortlessly get work each season as if it's another day in the office. It's pretty safe to call them regulars in the anime composing field now lol.

What really caught my attention is that Go Sakabe will be returning this season. I found his score for Date A Live to be very enjoyable and while KKK wasn't all that special it's probably because of the limitations of the show.

Given the description of the series i'm not expecting much but i'll give it a try either way.
Glad to see Takanashi return again this season as well but i'm rather interested in what Taku will whip up this time.

Gatchaman Crowds has to be one of my most listened to albums of all time so i'm curious if he will go with a similar style or something brand new (since he loves experimenting so much).

Kow Otani is doing the music for Toaru Hikuushi no Koiuta.

It's not Hamaguchi like I had hoped for but at least it's something.

I have enjoyed Yoshinori Makoto's works so far (Koi Kaze, Natsume Yuujinchou). I think he is a very good composer, and his style is pretty unique.

Masato Kouda's new soundtrack might be interesting, too. I only know his works for Wild ARMs 4 and 5 and have yet to watch Ars Nova, but I really love some of his compositions, so fingers crossed.

It would be cool if Yoko Kanno does more than Space Dandy's ending theme.

It's a Bandai/Lantis series so it's very likely to get a CD release.

Edit: https://twitter.com/junnoske_suite/s...32024841482240

Tweet by Junnoske Sato, a director at Lantis, mentioning that the CD mastering of the ED and soundtrack was done by Mitsuo Koike.

It would be great, there are some interesting instrumental compositions in show.
I also add to anime list CD catalogue numbers from this season and it will be interesting to predict CD releases for next season based on results from this winter season. I will try add also CD data to previous seasons.

2x Columbia
2x Avex
