Thumbs up So what's the last CD that you bought?

Just to see what others interests are..

I just ordered my copy of Yanagi Nagi's 'Owari no Hoshi no Love Song' album, with DVD, LE. With a name like Jun Maeda behind it, and Nagi's sweet soft voice, what's not to like??

I found the American release of the Ergo Proxy Volume 2 OST. I haven't listened to it yet.

... unfortunately (or thankfully!) this was one of those "Exclusively sold at Best Buy" dealies with the first DVD volume, so I got the first four episodes ... with the second soundtrack... for some reason. Yeah.

I should add this to the site...

Gatchaman Crowds by Taku Iwasaki.
There is mix of everything from pure orchestral action to beats and samples and even classical songs.
Track No.5 - Tutu I don´t think that I heard something so weird and so addictive
My favorite track: Track No. 20 - Unbeatable Network

Wow, it's been a while for me. I haven't been buying much of anything lately, music or games. But my last purchase, which was back around 3 months ago now, was all of the following:

ALLSTAR PRO-WRESTLING II Original Soundtrack
Mama-san Volley Chichi Yure Manse
the FEAR ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK
HITMAN BLOOD MONEY Original Soundtrack
BLOOD THE LAST VAMPIRE GAME SOUNDTRACK

All of them are probably still sealed since I've really just been out of the loop on game music and haven't been spending a lot of time with it. The first three I bought at Amazon.co.jp, which was weird because some of that stuff has been out of print for like what - a decade? Hitman I got from Amazon.com, and Blood The Last Vampire was from CDJapan. I like buying from stores.

I really like Haneda compilation Hane-ken Land.
There are some really awesome tracks. He was skilled arranger with nose for incredible combination of groovy/jazzy/funky stuff with orchestra and also great piano player.

Sagisu is also one of my favorites composer and now with arrangers like Amano or TEHO his music is more powered with brass section and IMHO orchestration is better.

But I don´t know why after repeated listening I really can get through Berserk Trilogy.
P.S. I really hate that 4 members choir on his soundtracks

I should put Hane-Ken Land on my wish list. I have heard some samples from it, and I want it badly.

I agree with you about Sagisu's "quartet" that appears in his most recent soundtracks. I preferred the choral sounds of the London Freedom Gospel Choir, as can be heard in his End of Evangelion soundtrack.

Hane-ken Land is a fantastic compilation. I especially like the songs from the Frankenstein anime, and am trying to hunt down the full OST on vinyl... very rare!

For other great Kentarou Haneda tracks check out the original Macross OST and Odin: Photon Sailer Starlight.
