The first three discs of this are the same as the regular OST discs, but the movie soundtrack appears to have different tracks on it.

The image submitted as "Front & Obi" appears to be broken.

What's the source on the new capitalization? (Rahxephon -> RahXephon)

probably from the logo of the anime (it looks like RAhXephoN to me)
the X looks bigger tho (but RahXephon looks uglier than Rahxephon imo)

I own this and it's RAHXEPHON CD BOX on both sides of the album, Rahxephon in the weird cyrillic letters on the cds inner circle and on the insert cover, "Rahxephon CD BOX DISC#" on the thin outer edge of each cd, RAHXEPHON all over the inserts.

I don't have a scanner but I can take pictures with my iPhone for proof.

I saw another album with the capitalized 'X' and have always seen that as part of the name, so I changed them all.

Looking further, general sources swear by it, official sources keep it lowercased, except for... US/UK DVD boxes. I want to write it off as another "Darius Burst", but at least Dariusburst was always Dariusburst. Personally, I'd keep with the lowercase, if that's really what the creators do.

I have the first two OSTs - and while the title is mostly in uppercase, it's written 'Rahxephon' on the outer rim of the CDs there too. No sign of this particular capitalization.

So should we roll back your edits? (or you can restore the titles to the original state and then we can approve them).

I wonder if we're eligible to use a popular fan capitalization for product (e.g. ESPGaluda), if not for album title.

This is a toughie. The official logo for the western release is so stylized, that it appears to be a mix of upper and lower case: RAhXePhoN.

On the Pluritas Concerto album, it does seem like the extra emphasis on the X could be rendered as an upper case letter. It's not that way on the rest.

I think it's "Espgaluda", personally. jp.wiki does this too, for some reason.

I've never seen any confirmation on capitalization other than allcaps, unfortunately.

The logo is silly. The main website for the franchise (at least the anime?) also uses "Rahxephon". Only the US/UK DVD boxes use "RahXephon" (someone should check the subs too, for laughs) from what I see.

Switched them back, this really seems to be best. I have no idea how to handle the US reprints.

you can leave them as they are

edit: actually, after finding the front and back covers for the ost 2 US release, the title seems to be the same (ie RAHXEPHON)

While the title for the album is inconsistent, isn't the title for the product clearly stylized?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RahXephon

So, independent of how we decide the album display title, the product field should remain RahXephon, shouldn't it?

Looks like the issue is contentious on Wiki too. We'll go with the lower-case x.

Sorry for the bump, but this page (identified as an official website) also uses "Rahxephon". I guess the western distributors simply ignored this/overrode this?
