Release date on iTunes states May 30 2006.

This can't be the case because the game wasn't released to the public until mid/late 2007

Date is taken from Amazon mp3 version of the release.

Just for information purpose, there have been cases where the soundtracks got released before the game/anime/movie. Don't assume the date's wrong just because the game wasn't published at the time.

"Ubisoft Music", generally have the wrong dates on iTunes.
I think so far we do have the true release dates for their releases.

This is also available on Qobuz, so it's not an iTunes exclusive.

This also causes a discrepancy between the prices. Perhaps Gigablah or Secret Squirrel could make it possible to set prices for specific release distributions (e.g. $11.99 for lossless and $9.99 for 320K in this case)?

The exact same case is with Assassin's Creed: Revelations OST. Multi prices are still a no go. Adding a note about it is an OK solution for now. BTW Qobuz is the only place you can get this in lossless and it's fucking worth every euro cent

Amazon.com actually has it for as low as $8.99, so maybe it should be changed yet again.

I am torn on whether or not these are official. They come from the website Jaxsta:

The founders claim that they get all their info from official sources rather than "crowd-sourcing" (which we do). That means they may have some inside information from Ubisoft, which might make those numbers some kind of internal catalog number. They at least make sense in that they are sequential to Ubisoft releases (so they aren't just some albumid in Jaxsta's database.)
