Also live-action adaptations that have manga as the source (with an anime show in between) are added regularly nowadays. Old rule to add only live-action movie OSTs that have the video game or anime as the source of the franchise itself is long gone.

Nothing wrong with it.

So... we are open to any kind of movie soundtrack now?
And is there any source of discussion on the forum about it?

A bit of an overstatement.

There are no more issues with adding pure novel image albums as well - Guin Saga albums were all reactivated for example; this kind of entry was normally disabled in the (distant) past and right now there's an influx of super sentai too.

Albums like any of those are hardly an issue if submitted well.

I could be wrong but the US release is the WaterTower made-on-demand CD-R, with a second release coming out as an actual pressed CD in the EU by Sony. (seems to be a common thing with new film soundtrack releases nowadays, particularly with WaterTower and Madison Gate)

Amazon doesn't have the CD-R on demand notice for it, at least not currently (like they used to have for these albums). However it definitely might be the case.
