Few questions!
Firstly, does the option to change the number of discs for an entry disappear after the entry is approved? I went to bump the number of discs to 3 for this, but didn't see any option to do so on the edit screen. Secondly, what should the title be? All of the websites advertising this for sale reference the soundtrack as 'Golden OST + Piano Collection' in some form, but the foldout lyrics posters make no mention of 'Golden' or 'Piano Collection' in the title - just 'OST'. The 3rd disc is only parenthetically referred to as the Piano Collection on the lyrics foldouts (although the disc has it printed on it, unlike the two OST discs?). Any help clarifying what to go with would be appreciated! Thanks! |

To change the number of discs, click on Edit Album, and go down to the Media section and click on Add. Then, use Prev and Next to navigate the discs, so you can edit the properties of the one you added.

Thank you very much for the quick information! Didn't realize the 'add' function was separate from the disc classification box that was right above it ^^.

Since this is an enclosure, there's no album "cover" that has a definitive title. I suppose combining the disc titles is fine.
The catalogue number is tricky -- as far as I can make out from the disc scans: DY-M5941-G15-01 DY-M5942-G15-01 Third disc is obscured. Not sure how we're going to represent those. |

Question: after listening to the first two CDs of this soundtrack, would you say that the remastering done was an improvement over the original music? I read from some sites that 'there was no remastering' done in the sense that it was not noticeable or hardly noticeable.

The statement below is false. The statement above is true. One man was smart, he felt smart. Two men were smart, they smelt farrr...darn it! I'll never get it right. What is "the box" that people are supposed to think outside of anyway? Hmm. Maybe it's similar to the Borg from Star Trek who dwelled as a collective hive-mind within a...box/cube. Those that deviated from this hive-mind would, in effect, be thinking outside of the box. it has both a figurative and a literal meaning. |

Technika 2's soundtrack is the only near exact match though - the numbers on the back of other soundtrack discs from the DJMAX series are pretty varied in format. Quote:
I'm most definitely -not- an expert, but if you know of a better way to compare the mastering of the discs (something more concrete than listening by ear), I'd be open to giving it a shot to put the argument to rest one way or the other ^^. |

Play-Asia has this set on sale for $34.90. The sale lasts for another 6 days or so.
http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-...n-70-3ujn.html I'm not familiar with it, but it's a really nice set and that price is tempting. Is the music pretty good? I do enjoy most dance music so this set might be right up my alley. |
