Only one thing left to say about this album, and you all knew it was coming: "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US."

Or "This is Number One" because it's the first PCCB album. (00001)

The sound effect tracks are named, if you look on the right side of the "Insert" Scan...

I fixed the tracknames and added a japanese tracklist.

Someone please check the translation, feel free to swap in better terms.

Does "Shall We Gather (Trad.)" here mean "Shall We Gather at the River?", composed by Robert Lowry?

And if I am not missing anything, THAT's the track that seems to be missing.

I have no idea what happened to my sample disc. The damage doesn't look like normal scratch. It covers most of the surface, but unevenly, with some parts showing more marks/spots than others. The edges have what looks like more normal scratching, like small crosses all over the place.

I had this for a while and played it several times before noticing. Doesn't skip at all, plays perfectly, which is even more puzzling.

Now good luck finding a sample disc for replacement!

Could it be a chemical reaction caused by fingerprints? I read somewhere that this would be the most likely cause for CD failures years after you bought them.

The top of the disc and the rest of the album are in pretty good condition. I don't see greasy fingerprint anywhere. The surface of the disc is clean. I wonder if it's a factory error. Or some sort of laser damage. Doesn't look like bit-rot.

Laser damage wouldn't explain the edge damage though.

Guess I'll just keep it and not think about it.

Yes, the arcade version doesn't seem to have an animated opening cutscene. So no "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US" in there.

Hm, at least it still plays and you can back it up if you haven't already.

Can't say I've ever had a CD fail on me before. Guess that time is yet to come?
