Chumei Watanabe should actually be the display name here. His real name is read as Michiaki but he uses Chumei professionally.

A lot of entries to be sorted through and changed...

By the way, fun fact is that he is the father of Toshiyuki Watanabe.

from what I know the only old record that use romanized name is http://www.ost-center.com/contenu/ja...me/8338-01.jpg

I think I've fixed all the entries now.

I didn't check the scans for every single album so I don't know if there's any others that have Michiaki or a variation of Chumei.

I have only just learned of the death of Chumei Watanabe. Very sad, he is one of my gods of music along with Seiji Yokoyama and Ennio Morricone. All my favorite composers are gone now. It's the end of an era but they will remain eternal in my eyes.

Agreed, he was a true foundational legend. Responsible for some of the best anison in history. And he still kept on going.
Yes, it's quite sad that all the greats are leaving now.
