So it seems they have reverted the name back to Nippon Columbia, judging by the official site and recent albums scans. How do we handle this?

I think we have another label that reverted to his old name..
It's BMG Japan / BMG JAPAN. And they seems to have chosen to same solution: capitalizing their name. If that's correct for the new NIPPON COLUMBIA, we just have to create a new label. Also, i was thinking if we could change the organisation linking like the artist linking --> create a warning for labels that got the same name (ex: bmg japan), like we currently have for artists ? |

Oh, I didn't know there was already a case like this. I agree adding a new entry is the best solution so I've done that and I'll move over the albums released since the change. I'm not sure exactly when it occurred though, from our entries the closest I can get is between Anime Digimon Xros Wars MUSIC CODE (Sep 29, 2010) and THE IDOLM@STER MASTER ARTIST 2 -FIRST SEASON- 01 Haruka Amami (Nov 03, 2010). I've used Oct, 2010 for both labels for now.
