It is essentially superseded by the Super Meat Boy! Digital Special Edition Soundtrack with several additional tracks.

I'm a bit confused by this soundtrack/game. Gamewise, is Super Meat Boy just an upgrade of Meat Boy? The products represented field gives the impression that they're separate entities, but I get the impression they aren't since I can't find any information on a game just called Meat Boy. But...

The music for the game was created by Danny Baranowsky, who had also composed the music for the original Meat Boy.

Was the original Meat Boy more or less a beta of Super Meat Boy?

Nevermind, I see that the original was an adobe flash game. So tracks 2-08 through 2-39 is the original Meat Boy music.
