I'm surprised this 2002 release is still in stock in more than one shop. Is it bad? It looks like a great deal, episode I to IV with a few bonus tracks...

I think it's an excellent release, probably the best Gradius-related album you can pick up, unless you go for the 8 discs ultimate collection.

This one predated a lot of the retro releases from nowadays. It's a solid pickup. Shame Gradius IV is such a weak offering, but the quality of the arrangements offset this pretty good.

I agree with The Gambler. It's my go-to Gradius album (official album, at least: I really like the Energy Force album from Magical Trick Society). The first disc alone is worth the price.

It did look like a good album

I just think the front cover could have been much better than this. Like, some actual Gradius artwork where we see enemies or ships.
