Default Favorite Battle Tracks

Yes, we're doing that now. For the sake of including as many artists as possible, let's say that non-RPG battle tracks (like 2D fighters) count.

It's hard to pick, so you guys go on without me!

I don't play that much, hence I usually don't even know if the track that I'm listening to is a battle track or not.

Two examples from Ar tonelico I: Fenrir (phase 1 battle track I think) and Vidarr (phase 2 I think)

EDIT: And because I feel like it, one example from Radiant Historia: An Earnest Desire of Gray (final battle IIRC)

So many great battle themes... here are just a few that I've particularly enjoyed recently:

Saber's Edge - Final Fantasy XIII (Masashi Hamauzu)
The True Mirror - Baten Kaitos (Motoi Sakuraba)
ZETEC - Grandia III (Noriyuki Iwadare)
Limitation - Tactics Ogre (Hitoshi Sakimoto)
Dragon God - Chrono Cross (Yasunori Mitsuda)
Grabacr - Ace Combat 5 (Junichi Nakatsuru)

I love damn near all of the battle tracks in Shadow Of The Colossus. Such great compositions.

Field Battle - Field Battlefield, Medium Scale (Reijiro Koroku) [Kessen II]
One word: Epic.

Ling Xiaoyu ~PlayStation Ver.~ (Nobuyoshi Sano) [Tekken 3]
The young girl has "pwnage" written all over her, and so does her Theme.

Blowin' up the Enemy (Kazuhiro Nakamura) [Tekken 6]
It reminds me a bit of Brad Fiedel's "The Terminator" Theme.

Battle with Lord Mei-oh (Noriyuki Asakura) [Tenchu: Stealth Assassins]
Available as a Redbook Audio track on the game's CD.

The Second Malformation Of "G" (Masami Ueda) [BIOHAZARD 2]
Back in the day I used to run around like an idiot simply to have it loop. Same goes for "Escape From Laboratory": yeah, I understand that technically it isn't really a battle track, but you get to face a few opponents while it plays... thus... fine by me to include it here.

The Wind that Crosses the Earth (Kohei Tanaka) [Alundra]
What I've wrote in support of "Escape From Laboratory" may apply for this, too, I guess.

Ozar Midrashim (Kurt Harland) [Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver/Defiance]
It works damn well as a battle theme, that's all I have to say.

I know I may be stretching the term battle theme a bit far here, but my nr.1 favorite battle-type song is probably from Power Rangers Zeo: Battle Racers on the SNES, music by Hiroyuki Iwatsuki & Haruo Ohashi (track Enemies Town).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcH0Vg4EG3Y

Closely followed by the much loved Mystic Ark (track Now, Full of Power, I'm Your Opponent!) and Mystic Quest (track Battle 1). Then a wealth of others but these 3 are probably at the top.
