I kind of have the feeling this won't see the light of day, just like this album never did...

I wouldn't mind being proven wrong, though.

It should if it was. I personally leave that particular course of action to staffers.

According to their Facebook page, they're already preparing for release, so no reason to worry

Kinda unrelated to this, but anyone knows what's going on with KNGI? Apparently they're redesigning their website, but meanwhile all the projects released under their banner are unavailable.

And the album is out now.

And what I remember from Mega Man X Metal Arrange, guys doing it are busy with other projects. Should bug them again.

Nearing two years now since its release date, so quite busy I must say (IRLS). You should bug them again, indeed. As one of the users say in his wishlist, "there's no such thing as too much Rock, man".

Heh, I like that.

Okay, so the "scans" provided are rather large, and when it comes to image editing I happen to be the laziest person alive...unless it's something small. Anyone willing to tackle this, go right ahead. The current front image is from the digipack; I had labeled it as such, but decided to revert it.

Finally, both "Arranged by" and "Performed by" fields have been filled and taken care of. I'm kindly leaving the breakdown to somebody else, as I'm a bit stumped on how to tackle it.

Cheers.

Should be "3 Digital", unless they plan to release it on CD.

Then don't bother to post digital booklet/images on the entry.
We are not using them for CD releases.

So, should there be a digital entry for this album also?

Oh yes, yes, you are so right. So damn right. When will I ever learn?

The culex flies unhinged!

No, because there's no difference between the digital download and the "hard copy". Difference, as in anything exclusive.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and to note, the CURRENT front image IS from the digipack, so... There you go.

Regardless of whether I know or not, Mr. pH6, my initial quip was merely trying to express to the culex that whether the images are from either the physical or digital release have no weight given they're both the same. They're as eligible for upload as scans from the physical copy would (with the slight exception being the discs).

But hey, I'm just a passerby, so don't mind me - I'm merely enjoying the view.

Eh, there doesn't need to be anything exclusive. A CD is not going to be the same thing as a bunch of MP3s or even FLAC files, unless they tossed actual FLACs or MP3s on these CDs. If the scans are "the same", for the sake of it, we should use the images from the digital release for that, and scan the images from the CD release for that.

Also... it would not be fair in the slightest to call this "3 Digital". 3 digital what? Nothing, that's what.

Guys, did you obtain track times from the original CDs? Because they certainly don't match the track times of either the MP3 VBR or the FLAC files. Normally, this doesn't matter much, except tracks like "Seed" have a difference of 7 seconds between the value on the database and the one that foobar2k lists here, which is higher than the 3 second tolerance for freedb.

Huh, I was under the impression that actual physical copies were yet to ship anywhere?

edit: excerpt from an email I received today (13 Oct):

Sorry this has taken a few weeks, but I (Nate) wanted to let you know your orders were received and are plugged into a database. I do not actually have the hard copies in my hands just yet, and it will still be a few weeks before I can ship them out. I've been working with discmakers to make sure the orders are correct and ready to go, in addition to the usual post-launch needs for the project. [...]
And I will email you again when the order arrives, and once more when the order ships.

Feel free to email back with any questions or concerns. Thank you!
-Nate H. (project manager)

Everyone appearing on this album should now be in the database.

Should.

I hope.

Mercurial and Lobos aren't picking up when I try to link. Did you make profiles for those?
