Couldn't find much info on this release at the moment. I'm sure it'll be out soon. I'd guess 3-4 CD?

I'd imagine so. I remember seeing something about there being a large number of tracks, specifically ~80, but I don't really remember where, nor do I think there was even a source to it, but I doubt there'd be less tracks than the previous game, if anything.

I'm tentatively putting this as 5CD based on the price and that this was announced today along with DFCL-2140~3 and DFCL-2144.

This was the only CD in the DFCL-2135~9 range.

4300 yens for 5cds, I doubt
when one sees some 2cd releases can reach ~3500 yens (it makes like 1750 yens per disc)

so 4300 yens will make 860 yens per disc, sony is not crazy and could lose money
if I should guess, I'd say 3 cds (1430 yens per disc is more reasonable for a record company)

It has a bonus disc enclosed according to TSUTAYA so maybe that's it.

Hold on; I saw that both FIRE EMBLEM CDs are priced around 3330Yen or so and they're both 4-discs.

Excited for this! (Or X-cited? Okay, I'll stop.)

Here's hoping there will be a Western release too, albeit unlikely.

Looks like Tsutaya has taken it off their site. I guess they're revising it?

No, that just happens for all new albums they add. The link is public for less than 24 hours before turning private.

Also, JASRAC has only 47 tracks listed for this. As usual, insane track titles by Sawano. The few English ones were written by mpi and the German ones by Rie.

They ARE bizarre titles. Given that XBCX is supposed to be 90 tracks long, I can only hope that the 47 tracks aren't the only ones that are released and that the others simply aren't registered yet. Or does it really matter?

Ahahahahaha oh man, now a huge wave of video game music fans are going to be introduced to the hilarious majesty of Hiroyuki Sawano song titles. This is going to be fantastic.

Well the thing is Hiroyuki usually has a lot of tracks where it's a 2 songs in 1 kind of deal. This is usually always the case except when it comes to his vocal songs. So even if there supposed to be 90 tracks that means they might just be condensed into a smaller tracklist.

Also loling at another crazy Sawano tracklist XD.

I thought he'd chill out with that crap since this is his first big video game title but I guess he'll never change .

Does anyone know if there is going to be an in-game Jukebox in XCX like there is for XC3D? I'm all of a sudden *very* curious how they're going to handle the track names in the English version of the game if so!

Any clue as to why they're doing this?

So I wonder if the 4CD includes the bonus disc mentioned here: http://www.sonymusicshop.jp/m/item/i...=DFCL000002135

Not really sure about that. The catalog should be correct at least (since it's mentioned on the site as DFCL2135~2138), and it seems strange they wouldn't mention the fifth disc on there if there was one.

EDIT: for everyone else wondering, the tracklist comes from here so 4CD looks correct.

So the 4th CD is the bonus disc. The 8 tracks on there are not on JASRAC.

From what I understand, Sawano typically makes super-long tracks that combine 2 (or even 3) songs together. So this OST should be comparable in length with the first Xenoblade OST in terms of overall time.
