I didn't know Harumi Ueko and Jimmy Weckl were the same person. How is this known?

治巳 can be read as "Jimi". Jimi Ueko -> Jimmy Weckl. |

This is the guy who's credited under "Sound Design" of Castlevania: Dracula X for SNES if anyone's wondering (I just added his name as it appears in the end credits to the name variations).

He solely composed the Silent Scope series, which has some awesome music.
He also did all the music for these two games, which I've never heard. |

Also strongly suspect he wrote all of the music for the first SNES Goemon game, based on what he said in the booklet (with Uehara handling SFX and implementation.)

Ueko was one of the early composers who worked alongside Hidenori Maezawa in the 80s.
It's very possible he could have been involved in the original TMNT (Gekikame Ninja Den) seeing as he did music for Cosmic Wars, which was done around the same time with musical similarities. Even though the other composers are still mysterious and Jun Funahashi claimed to fame on a good chunk of tracks, it's not impossible to think Ueko did something in there. Still waiting for the original TMNT or any Famicom/NES music to appear on a Konami compilation. Sunsoft/Clarice Disc made it happen by putting Batman on their compilations... |

That Silent Scope track sounds like Hirokazu Ando and Norio Hanzawa collaborated together!
