Does anyone know where this tracklist came from:
http://www.squareenixmusic.com/albums/f/ff5.shtml These names don't match the Japanese tracklist at all, but they seem to be so well ingrained that it makes me wonder if it's some kind of official English tracklist that Square put out. The direct literal translation looks like this: http://squarehaven.com/features/albums/?id=PSCN-5015 This is obviously a translation of the official soundtrack, and should be the default one for our entry. If the first one is in any way official, we can add it as a second English tracklist. BTW, don't make any edits to our current tracklist. I can revert the latest edits to restore us to the original correct tracklist, once I know more about what's going on. |

There's no official English tracklist for the soundtrack releases, however the arrange album has both English and Japanese tracktitles. They don't coincide though, and for example the English title for ファイナルファンタジーⅤ・メインテーマ is "Ahead On Our Way". The same is true for the piano collections as well.
So yeah, these new edits should be reverted. Last edited by seanne; Aug 15, 2008 at 04:26 AM. |

There was an official iTunes release. Check that.

I can't see how some of the track listings are correct.Take for example disc 1 track 18, the book clearly states two !! after it, and I find it hard to see that the track would be entitled By a Hairs Breadth!!
Close Call!! sounds alot more realistic, I know this is a ye old tracklist and probably hasn't been touched in ages, but I'm struggling to find a track listing I'm comfortable with, especially when various symbols etc which are there for all to see, and aren't used. It's not an uncommon album, so how comes so many problems o: Any thoughts? Last edited by Boyblunder; Jun 27, 2009 at 03:20 AM. |

Small things like a missing exclamation mark here and there is going to happen every now and then, I don't think it's that strange. As for the translation of that track, I agree with you that it could be made to sound better, so I made the change.

Shouldn't Mozart and Debussy be credited for Piano Practice tracks 7 and 8 as featured?

Good catch. I usually skipped those tracks, so I never noticed.

モーグリ is Moogle, right? Pretty sure "Moglies" is wrong.

If I remember correctly the only Mogli was a moogle from Final Fantasy Unlimited in a single english dub on dvd by adv films and has since been put back to Moogle Kupo.
The Moogle/Moogles' Theme would be more correct |

Since it's a general theme of Moogles, I changed it to Moogle Theme. I saw Chocobo Theme somewhere and I think it works best.

Where does all the info in the notes section come from?

Either original is missing a page scan or the PSCN reprint has an additional credit page. I'd imagine the former

It's just that the scans seem so complete... we're missing slipcase top/side/bottom, and then...? Some booklet or insert that exists outside of the two cases?
EDIT: No, I understand now, it has to be your second guess. The reprints are totally different from this; they only have one case instead of two in a slipcase and a single booklet inside. Both of them have this exact information on the back of the booklet. But since they're reprints, everything is linked in the entries, so it shows up here. Unless we're missing an entire booklet scan here, but I doubt it. However, I find it very odd that there's not a single mention of Nobuo's name anywhere on here. Sure, credits get left out all the time, but... Nobuo? Last edited by Hellacia; Mar 6, 2012 at 05:08 PM. |

Apparently, I own this? Hold please.
The scans on this original print (parent) are missing the inside loose inserts. The scans are of the inserts that are part of the two individual cds. Here's a picture: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/40726643/ffv.jpg, I have no scanner. Last edited by dancey; Mar 6, 2012 at 05:17 PM. |

Were the tracks used in V & VI's Anthology FMVs ever officially released?
