Seems like we've blessed with some very good announcements as presents, these Christmas. My wallet is starting to fear that month, tho...

It was about time they announced this, I found it weird that Konami released the Gradius rebirth OST but there was still no word on Contra. But I guess it pays off, 2 for the price of 1.
I can't wait to listen to the Castlevania Rebirth arrangements on CD-quality.

I just found out this was coming. About time! I also thought it was strange that Gradius ReBirth got an OST but not these two rebirth titles. Even better, we get them as a compilation album.

Gradius ReBirth OST is excellent: not only it has the full soundtrack for the game, but also all the original tunes that Namiki chose to rearrange. And it also has twenty minutes or so of completely new arrangements.

I can only hope this will be as good; even if the choice of pairing two games in one suggests a far less promising album...

I was wondering: considering the previous discussion on castlevania games titles, should the game titles on this tracklist be left translated or just romanized as some other castlevania albums? I'm inclined towards the later, but I didn't make the edits yet just in case to hear what is the right direction to go.
Also I filled in some composer credits, but as I'm really unfamiliar to Contra music, be my guest to complete the rest.
Just got my copy today, and man, does it sound nice compared to a game rip I had, the sound is very crisp. I like the fact they used some Dracula XX music; I always liked that Map Screen song. Expect scans (presumably) soon.

Oh, and that Dracula Rebirth Another Medley is just pure gold. Thanks Namiki for making my day

Oh yeah, it's Akumajo. Well, the point is to remove the macron from the track titles.
