Has anyone actually listened to this? The first track is labeled as Chrono Trigger but, upon listening, it is clearly a jazz cover of Xenogears... Unless I'm totally missing the joke or something.

Maybe Mitsuda composed the track for Chrono Trigger but instead it ended up being used for Xenogears. I mean it's by the same composer who worked on both games by the same company, so... Just a guess though.

If it was one track, I may believe that, but its a medley with Dark Daybreak, Bonds of Sea and Flame, and Flight. Although, funny enough, the Japanese title of this track is 飛翔... which means 'Flight'.

I can confirm that it is indeed a jazzed up medley of Xenogears music mislabeled as Chrono Trigger. It's definitely "Dark Daybreak" at the beginning and "Flight" at the end. I'm not 100% sure on the middle part, but it could be "Bonds of Sea and Flame."
