Composers listed here too, though track breakdown not given:

http://www.ne.jp/asahi/4-leaf/kmr/gm/gmetcindex.htm

I'm not sure if each composer was also an arranger for his or her respective track.

Also, does anyone know who GOODS Saito is?

I have a copy of this. You need a track-by-track credit?

Sure, that would be useful to prove that we're accurate on them. We do have the scans up though, and they don't associate the names with a particular track.

The "booklet folded" scan does give track-by-track credits.

(It should probably be renamed "booklet spread").

Ah, excellent. That's all we need for our proof.

I unlinked this HIR from this album. The spelling and capitalization are the same, but the hiragana pronunciation given in the Booklet Spread scan is はいああ (like "higher"), while the pronunciation given on HIR's GUNGNIR OVER REV profile is えいちあいあーる (H-I-R spelled out). Plus, this album precedes any of his other works here by more than ten years, as well as any of the activities he lists on his home page.

EDIT:

I just unlinked Mari Yamaguchi from this album after some research (hi Lunar). "Mari." (note the period) is credited for track 18, but I checked the end credits for Mega Man 5, U.N. Squadron, Super Ghouls 'n' Ghosts, Disney's Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse, Breath of Fire, and Final Fight 2, and they all give "MARI" or "Mari" with no period. If someone's got proof that it's actually her, great! I'd be very interested in that.

DOUBLE POSTING AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT

So one of CHEMOOL's characters in the Sega arcade game Network Taisen Quiz Answer x Answer 2 is named 炎尾煙 (Kemuru Honoo). Notice that 炎尾煙 is co-credited for track 15 with him! Notice that Kemuru and CHEMOOL are tantalizingly similar! Could they be the same person????? :chinstroke:

(I linked Kemuru as an alias)

Anyone object to me linking MOM MATUO up to Hayato Matsuo?

Case for:
  • MOM MATUO, Hayato Matsuo, come on (it's even written as MOM松尾 in the Booklet Spread scan, and 松尾 is how Hayato writes his family name (although there doesn't really look like another common way of writing it))
  • He's collaborating with Sakimoto, come on
  • He's contributed to other works albums in the same time period from Troubadour, which also involved several of the same composers: Hosoe, Sakimoto, etc.
Case against:
  • MOM MATUO isn't an alias he's ever used elsewhere, as far as I know.
  • Hayato didn't contribute to any of the other Synergy albums.

Yeah, MOM松尾 being an alias for Hayato Matsuo seems likely enough for us to roll with it even if we haven't any solid confirmation. I'd be rather surprised if it should turn out to be someone else.

maybe it's hayato's MOM.

sorry ;(

it certainly sounds like Matsuo's work though.

So, it looks like the newly-added release date comes from the 19910817 datestamp that can be seen in the booklet in a couple of spots. I don't know if that's the release date, but it may be a good theory.

There is also a 19910629 datestamp in the booklet interior, so it's hard to say.

1991-08-17 would've been Comiket 40. Maybe! Were people even releasing CDs that early in Comiket's history?

Interesting. Looks like this auctioneer claims it's from the summer Comiket, so perhaps so.
