Pure-Blooded Japanese Residential District? What game is it from?

I've recently become fascinated with a part in the song Pure-Blooded Japanese Residential District on the "ZUNTATA RARE SELECTION Vol.2 10cm Blue Sky in All Directions" CD. It's track 5. The part I'm most interested in is from 2:47 to 3:10. It's really awesome singing! Does anyone know what game this song is from? Also, if you know of any other songs (video game or not) with a similar style of singing in it, could you please direct me to it? Thanx.

It's an original album, and so that song (and everything else on the album) comes from no game. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that the album was actually made up of tracks Tamayo wrote for the Ray series that were never used, but I don't remember where I read it, can't find it, and so could actually just be making it up.
