Default BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER
So do I classify this is as anime or original work?

At the time of it's release it was an original work but two years later it got an anime (and the song was used to promote it).

I don't think it should be changed

when a song is "scheduled" for a certain type of work (game, anime, etc.), it's generally announced for it
since this one wasn't, it should stay as it is

edit: however, a note could say that that has been used in an OVA (I don't know if the coming anime will get a new OP or this one)

That's what I was thinking too. I'll keep it as original work then.

Oh and it wasn't actually used in the OVA, only in the trailers. I'll still make a note of it anyways.
