These are from a person who can translate Japanese at high level. Usually he/they don't bother with updating vgmdb with romanization, so I put what I can here.
I don't romanize names most of the time. Sometimes I'll do tracks when I can.

That is not a matter of how competent the translator is. The nature of name readings is completely different.

example 谷生優子:

谷生 can be read as Taniu, Tanio, Tanishou, Tanisho
優子 could be Yuko, Aiko, Atsuko, Hiroko, Yasahi, Masako, Yuuko, Yuugo, Suguruko.

To know what is the proper reading, one can never guess by "combining". Sources are needed for proper confirmation, let's say the pages from the very artist - maybe personal blog, company profile etc. Japanese Wikipedia also works. When the confirmation can't be found for whatever reason, leave the name in kanji.
