Never heard about this game before, but composers who have contributed to the DLC music packs are, according to the official site, as follows;

Vol.01: Tetsuya Shibata, Yoshitaka Hirota, Takahiro Izutani, Takahide Ayuzawa, Yoshitaka Suzuki
Vol.02: C.I.A, Masakazu Sugimori, Masato Kouda, Yoshitaka Suzuki, Takahiro Izutani
Vol.03: Shiji Hosoe, Ayako Saso, Yoshitaka Suzuki
Vol.04: Motoaki Furukawa, Takahide Ayuzawa
Vol.05: Kenichiro Fukui, ルド (Rudo?), 東 (Azuma?), Takahide Ayuzawa
Vol.06: Manabu Namiki, Noriyuki Kamikura, Yoshimi Kudo, Takahiro Izutani
Vol.07: Yoshino Aoki, Yoshitaka Hirota, Roc Chen, Takeshi Arai, Yuzo Koshiro, Takahiro Izutani, Tetsuya Shibata
Vol.08: Bentley Jones, Norihiko Hibino, Yoshitaka Hirota, Tetsuya Shibata, Jake Kaufman, Roc Chen, Yoshitaka Suzuki, Yoshino Aoki
Vol.09: Michiru Yamane, Yoshitaka Suzuki, Takahiro Izutani
Vol.10: Justin Lassen, Takahiro Izutani, Noriyuki Iwadare, Jeremy Soule, Yoshitaka Suzuki

Not sure all of their tracks will be released here. Even a couple members of Gem Impact who scores large portions of the packs aren't mentioned on the description of the shop page.

Thanks to GameStone, I added the arrangers for some of the music.

Seems to be no more 01 on the cover of the Box like the Konami Style page had, unless that's for different slips for each Disc.

Don't suppose anyone knows if this is a Konami-style only thing or if other outlets will be getting it? Play-Asia perhaps?

The only OTOMEDIUS-X thing I could find elsewhere is this: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview....EY=NEODAI-1927

It seems pretty weird to me that they charge that much for just one CD.

^ You're probably better off using a Deputy service at that rate.

This is CDJapan's proxy service. The rates are so high because this _is_ a middleman transfer.

Whoa, it's gone up. O_O Wasn't $80 before...

Also, does anyone have this? Are the DLC tracks different than the ones on the other Otomedius OST? LC-1852~4

Here's one happy owner of this baby. I'd like to answer your question, but I don't have the other OTOMEDIUS soundtrack, unable to tell if the tracks are different

Great! Can you confirm the current per track credits as stated in the notes? And does the album state the composers of tracks 1.02~06 and 1.38~40?

*Smacks himself on the head for not quoting* =D

I'll eventually contribute my scans for this, unless someone else doesn't beat me to it, so you'll get the answer you seek

It would be nice if this had the info on which tracks are arranged from other songs. For example, track 1-12 is an arrangement of the Ryukotsuki battle theme from GetsuFumaDen. Things like that (although I realize that could take a lot of time. Just a thought.)

Nice spotting the ryukotsuki theme! Unlike the DLC packs for Otomedius (contained in disc 2 and 3 of LC-1852~4) I assumed these to be all original compositions. The set is huge, it will take an in-depth listening to find all references.

Here is a start, but Konami's library is vast...

Any progress? Which are original compositions, and which are arranged?

Who are 東 and ルド that Kenichiro Fukui arranges?

Surprised it took me this many years to get to this. Felt like the final door to shut for my Konami shooter journey, and it's quite a lot. Such a strange list of composers in this shooter game (Jeremy Soule, Motoi Sakuraba, Yoshitaka Hirota, Yoshino Aoki, and Noriyuki Iwadare to name a few). More people should recognize what this tried to do. Surprised me I never see anyone talk about it.

While hearing it (was kind of in a rush), I heard a few arranges I think for Flak Attak, Trigun, definitely 2 Axelay songs (Colony and Toughness). Michiru Yamane did COMMAND 770, A-JAX, and UF1 from said A-Jax while also putting on some neat original work in-between. All the composers seem they had time to creatively incorporate their styles into a shooting game, which was nice to hear. Manabu Maniki and especially Yoshitaka Hirota knocked it out of the park with their compositions.

As mentioned before, there are a few mysteries to this soundtrack. What I am most curious is who C.I.A. is. Their songs are quite a level beyond most of what's here, and there is virtually no information on who that is.

Now, if only we had a Parodius box for Konami to try to wrap this up, though I feel that would be a copyright issue at this point.

Quick addition. According to Originalsoundversion.com C.I.A. is Takahiro Tashiro, Kazunari Kume, and Eiji Yamaguchi.
