- Originally released on Floppy Disc for the MS-DOS, the game later saw a CD-ROM release a short time later. While it remained the same in terms of gameplay and story, major differences to the audio had happened between versions.
The Floppy Disc version features a synthesized score with few tracks, and no audio dialogue. The CD-ROM version had an orchestral score with more tracks than the Floppy Disc version, and also featured dubbed voices for the characters.
While based on the same score, the audible difference between the two version is considerable.
Japan also saw port releases, with the FM-Towns release using the orchestral version, and a PC-98 version using an audibly different synthesized soundtrack due to hardware differences. Other ports have favoured the orchestral score.
